2)
cupcake - i
have very little to say about this song. written around 1976.
it's obviously addressed to a prospective 'client' in
the game of love. my apologies. i can't
remember who the lucky lady was. i must have liked you before
and after. the
song is whimsical and not bitter.
so if you're out there and you hear this give me a holler. :-))

14) the cup
- this was written about 1977 after my
first visit to New England, where i would soon relocate and live for 14
years.
i spent that first Christmas in New England with Jon & Widdie
Hall and there little boy and girl. it was my
first 'family' Christmas in many
years. without getting too
mystical, there was an ambience to my
prospective, new home that immediately pervaded my
consciousness with a renewed interest in my
'spiritual' life which mature over time
into a serious pursuit and
maybe even
some 'progress'. the
song, 'ring of keys' come from
this
same period. i'll try
to tag others as they come up.
